La pose d’un implant dentaire.

Dans la grande majorité des cas, la pose de l’implant est entièrement guidée .
C’est-à-dire que l’on réalise un guide chirurgical qui va guider la pose de l’implant dans un axe et une position bien précise .
Ce guide sera réalisé via un logiciel de planification à partir de l’examen 3D du patient.
Il est ensuite imprimé en 3D par le prothésiste à l’aide d’une imprimante 3D.

Cela a l’avantage d’avoir l’implant posé dans les meilleures conditions .
Cela réduit et évite un décollement de la gencive trop important .
Les suites post-opératoires et les saignements sont réduits .
C’est une technique que peu de dentistes utilisent.

Le chirurgien dentiste effectuera d’abord un examen clinique afin de s’assurer de la bonne santé de vos dents puis une radiographie panoramique.
Pour poser un implant dentaire, le chirurgien dentiste pratique une incision pour dégager la gencive afin d’accéder à l’os et réaliser une percée qui permettra de visser l’implant. Cette intervention est réalisée sous anesthésie locale, c’est un acte médical simple et peu douloureux bien qu’il puisse paraître impressionnant.

Dans un second temps, une prothèse viendra recouvrir l’implant, il en existe différentes sortes :

La couronne dentaire en céramique qui permet de remplacer une seule dent manquante.
Le bridge qui permet de remplacer une ou plusieurs dents en s’appuyant sur les dents voisines.
